Mood: Thoughtful

Everyone knows what a pearl is, right? Those small round objects valued, and stored up as things of this world. You all know how they are formed, do you not? A piece of the outside world makes its way into a oyster. This little speck causes the oyster pain, an irritation. But through that pain there emerges a pearl. A pearl of great price.
Now imagine yourself as a oyster, just for a moment. Pain and trial enters. Just as that speck of outside gets in the oysters’ shell. It chips away at our souls, but making us as pearls. I know explaining and making points is a art of which I have not mastered, but still, do you not see?

That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
1 Peter 1:7

Also may I direct all you lovely young ladies to this website: Maidens Of Modesty. Please take a look at that, put together by my dear friend Danica.
