"Let Us Rejoice and Be Glad in It"

I am rather fond of life. It is really very good, isn't it? The world is a lovely place full of beautiful things and all sorts of people.I am overflowingly glad that I am not a depressed or uninterested individual. I am glad I have interest in life and enjoy the one I lead. How sorrowful not to? To have no desire to wake up, to lay down, to eat, to speak, to go anywhere, to see anything! Not to revel in the special days nor be glad in the normal, everyday days! That is truly a poor existance. If you have nothing to live for here, what do you have to live for in the Real World?

Of course, everyone has their "bad days" of being crabby and melancholic. As anyone can tell you, it ain't a bed of roses down here. Life is pain, Movie Westley states. But, as you know, the pain is durable and not as bad as it could be. There is always that glimmer of hope. The light at the end of the tunnel. On the good days, "Life is good, eternal life is better" and on the bad days, the same. On bad days there is always something to be thankful for, something to be enjoyed, something to laugh over. Life is pain, it ain't no Heaven. It has its sorrowful times intermingled with good times. Joyous, happy, laughing times. How good is it to be able to say, when your heart aches with joy or is overcome with heartache, that life is good? That person is blessed.
